So I know I’ve posted this dress but thought I’d post how I wear it casually as well. Its so comfy and really flattering to wear, I definitely would like to pick it up in another colour.

My photos are a bit off at the moment, as I say there's no where in my new flat that's that great for taking photos in the winter. Its not much better outside to be honest!

So my accreditation came through for IMATS, who is going? I was suppose to be, and I so want to , but I don't think I can make it and I feel so sad! Theres a chance I could go if anyone is needing a hotel buddy or has a couch!

So I hadn’t got round to doing a wee birthday round up, as I said, I was spoilt rotten by my lovely boyfriend, friends and family and thought I’d show you some of my favourite pressies!

I am loving my heated rollers so much, I’ll do a proper post on them sometime, although there's that many kicking about the blogosphere that you probably don’t need them! How nice are my typography prints? I got one from my friend and one from Mike. I love them both so much, unsure where in the flat to put each one!

I got lots of other lovely presents too and I'm such a lucky girl! I had a fab 22nd birthday and celebrated in style. Also thank you all so much for your lovely comments on my birthday post!

mini cupcake maker – Find me a gift*

When I was asked if I’d like to pick and review something from Find me a Gift I jumped at the chance of trying the mini cupcake maker!

The machine make’s cupcakes in about 10 minuets or less. They are all dink and cute when they come out, although I think I need to get mini cupcake cases for them to look better, its all about how they look!

The cupcakes came out complete delish, using my usual recipe of flour, caster sugar, butter all the same weight as how ever many eggs you want to make, chucked in and whisked! Simples!

This does make cupcake making a bit faster and they did all pretty much come out even, although as I say I think I need smaller cases or no cases.

So I am really excited about this! I have relaunched and reopened my online store! Back with a new name to differentiate it from the blog, Dolly Couture specialises in paper craft and dabbles in Jewellery.

I think the cards are well priced considering that each individual letter is hand stamped using rubber stamps and ink.

And I’m back in the game! Sorry I’ve being AWOL, I start back at placement next week and have been fitting in as many nightshifts before hand to get some dollah, which means Im literally off the radar for days.

So I’ve not been up to much, my bestie left for her elective placement in Holland yesterday so made some cakes to send her on her way! Im wishing her all the best but going to miss her so much!

I wore this blouse to my faux birthday party, which was lovely. I wore it with a pencil skirt which I think it looks a bit better with, I just threw this on today to do some errands!

I have so many baking escapades to show you but here are my first lot! Heart cupcakes. I love the red dragee’s against the chocolate icing. These are just plain vanilla cupcake’s I made with pink vanilla buttercream and chocolate buttercream.

The chocolate hearts are so yummy, and I have to be honest a couple didn't make it on to cakes cause I snaffled them!

I think cupcakes are a lovely valentines gift for your other half or you best friend (me and my friends do valentines, because, why not!)

I’ve got this big tin of cupcake decorations, because I just cannot resist buying them, I think I could spend a small fortune on decorations from Just Bake!

So here's what I wore to go out for birthday dinner, a group of us went to the new Khushi’s at Elm Row, which I cannot recommend enough! We love it in there, what started out to just be dinner turned in to coming home at 3 and not being able to move the next day, that's what birthday are for right?

My dress was in the sale at Miss Selfridge, which is always a bonus! £17! They have t in this seasons colours and its killing me trying not to by it! Such a comfy and pretty dress.

I had a lovely birthday and I'm going to do a wee post of my pressies because I was spoiled rotten! Michael got me Enrapture heated rollers amongst other goods, which is why my hair is so big and curly here! I love them! So easy to use and yeh, just an amazing present!

I wore this outfit to be taken out by Michael to The City Cafe the other day, which is one of m favourite places in Edinburgh to eat, they have revamped their already awesome menu and made it even better! Check it out!

I LOVE this Barbie brooch I made recently, so much so I put it on my jacket before it was completely dry and it may now be stuck there forever! Myself and Gina are hoping to be hitting some craft fairs around Edinburgh soon, and I will be relaunching the Cupcake Couture online store with jewellery and paper wares!
