This would be my ideal New Years outfit, if I’d been staying in, but Im going to the Edinburgh Street Party so instead I wore it to visit some friends. I love this top, you can’t really see in the photo but its a sheer blouse. Its lovely tucked into a skirt and was a bit of a bargain. A lot of the things from Select are things I wouldn't normally wear, but there are some wee gems in there!

January brought my 21st. I had the best night with all my faves
February Audrey the Kitten came in to our lives… awww!
March the girls and I went to the Lodge for hot tubbing in the snow
April I went to the Ballet with the blog girls which was delightful as usual!
May saw nights out for birthdays which were a bit messy
June I went to my Dad’s and saw my lovely family
July took us to the beach a few weekends in a row. Bliss
August Virginia and I went on a wigwam holiday
September we went back to Uni and got our anoraks on
Need I say more for October?
November we went to London for the weekend
December was the bloggers meet up, which was delightful!

So I wore this to the Garden Centre (oh the exciting life I lead!) and I did manage to tie my shoes. Im really unhappy with my outfit photos at the moment, its so hard to take clear photos in the new flat, the actual flat is very light and airy but all the photo taking areas arent. Also the walls are cream and not white making all my photos warm, and it starts getting dark about 2pm! Rant over, but thinking of new ways to do photo posts as this ain working!
Secondly, I posted a bit of a sale on my shop blog yesterday, its mostly cosmetics but a few other things, please take a look!
Today is my Great Gran’s 99th birthday so I'm away to see her, and then see my best friend for maybe the last time in a year, as she leaves for Australia tomorrow. I think I’ll probably cry all over the restaurant!

Here is my christmas outfit, sorry Im so late posting it, I’ve had the post christmas blues the past day or so. I got some good bits and pieces in the sales which I shall show you when its all arrived I think. I had taken photos of some of my lovely gifts but I can’t find them on my camera, what a ninny. I was spoiled by Michael as usual an got some lovely gifts from the family, and of course, from myself to myself!
I think I need to throw out the christmas cake as I am turning into christmas cake! SO bad, but so so so good!

I love this outfit, I like how the skirt makes it a bit girly. Totally relaxed outfit I wore earlier in the week for a day of shopping and baking.
Is anyone else super duper excited for Christmas tomorrow? I'm like a big kid. I mostly can’t wait to give people their presents, and eat Christmas dinner! My mumma is away in Thailand for Christmas (sob) so it feels a bit strange this year! Still going to see all the fam fam and Michael though so its all good!
I’ve also been bookmarking everything I'm going to look for in the boxing day sales, can’t be bothered going into town so defo hoping to do it from home!
So I’ve spent the last week putting off decorating my 3 large and 8 small christmas cakes. I baked all these as christmas gifts in October I think, instead of swatting for my exams. Well the exams are over and I had them all to decorate. I got down to it the other night and Im pretty pleased at how they all turned out. A few have been tweeked since these photos, more silver and sparkle and glitter added! The only thing now is I’ve started eating them, and christmas cake is my favourite, so I probably wont stop!
As requested by Charlene! We went to Edinburgh Zoo yesterday to see the Panda’s, amongst all the other lovely animals who were out and about!
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Edinburgh Zoo is probably one of my favourite places in Edinburgh, I’ve been a member for 3 or 4 years now, and its so worth it.
As you can see, Sunshine and Sweetie were out giving us lots of fun times! We had a brilliant day, and the panda’s really stuck with us… Me and Mike have been discussing how to turn Audrey into a panda all evening!

This week I’ve been recovering from the bloggers meet up, seeing friends, decorating a load of christmas cakes and doing shellac’s for some lovely girls.
Im officially on holidays now! Woo! I think Im off until the 29th too, which is grand!
Short post today, Im off to the zoo to see the pandas! Toodle Pip!
So on Saturday I went along to Scottish Ballets production of Sleeping Beauty. As you know, I post fairly regularly about the ballet, I love going along, I’ve now seen a fair few ballets both by Scottish Ballet and by other companies. I will always champion Scottish Ballet above the rest, the are innovative and edgy making their performances appealing to all types of audience.The costumes in Sleeping beauty were gorgeous if they would fit over my ankles, I’d be stealing them all! Whenever I go to the ballet, I spot the poster for the next season, and I squee my little brain off! This time it was street car named desire, which I am absolutely so so excited for! I’m also going to see Sleeping Beauty again with NanyPat as part of her birthday present!
I did take an outfit post, but it was dark by the time I took it and it just looks rubbish! Will put the outfit on again another day for you lovely's!

So, yesterday was the #scottishbloggermeet that me and Charlene have been planning for about a couple of months now! We had a fantastic time and hope everyone else did!
We met at the counting house for some cocktails and chats to get to know each other, then we headed along to Rox, a gorgeous jewellery shop who invited us to afternoon tea under there Christmas tree. We were spoiled rotten in gorgeous surroundings. It got me right in the Christmas mood! Next we toddled along to the German market and I think nearly everyone got a Bratwurst, and then some crepes or churros, which were so sickly sweet and messy but also pretty good. Some people couldn't stick around so we said our goodbyes and the rest of us headed to.. a pub which I don know the name of, but was ridic cheap (yay!) where we had lots more chats and funtimes! It was a great day, thank you so much to everyone that came along!

This is what I wore for lazy times recently, I'm struggling to do outfit posts because the light is going so fast and I’ve been doing a lot of nights, so I don't actually get dressed for days apart from my uniform, which you really don’t want to see! I love these slippers so much, they are never off my feet, I'm like an old dear, I’ve got to my car a couple of times before realising I still had them on, and they match my aztec print dress!

I am back on track with blogging, I’ve got a busy week coming up but a few scheduled posts should keep us going, and then its CHRISTMAS. Is anyone else as excited? Last year I blogged right through the holiday and plan to again this year, I get bored on Christmas day!

I'm back! I’m back in the land of the living, My exam went well even though it as postponed due to the hurricane Scotland had (Hurricane, pfft) and I’ve finished a set of 3 nights, I got another set this weekend, and then maybe two more next week and I'm done for Christmas! That means, I can paint my nails nice colours ha-ha!
I'm all set for Christmas, just waiting on quite a lot of gifts arriving! I am such a Christmas lover, I received one of my secret Santa's yesterday and I'm trying really really really hard not to open it… but I really want to!
Do you like these little boots I got from office? I should have taken a proper photo of them… and tidied the room!
